Squirt win regular season Pennant and playoff Silver
Squirt has completed a fantastic season of league play. A regular season record of 19-2-1 vaulted the girls into first place winning the 2018 Grand Valley Ladies Softball Association Squirt division and earning them the coveted pennant. Playoffs were held July 28-29 and the Lightning earned a spot in the Championship game. The girls battled back and forth with Six Nations in an uncharacteristically low scoring game, with Six Nations coming from behind to win 5-4 in seven hard fought innings. Congratulations to the girls, coaches and families on a successful season. Now it's off to Provincial Qualifiers and Provincial Grand Championships... GO LIGHTNING GO!!!
