Midget, 2018 (London Lightning Fastball)

Prom, you gotta love it and hate it at the same time. #23 was away all weekend and #13 just on Saturday but it posed a great loss for our team. 

What a great start to our Season!!! After being rained out on Saturday, we got to sticking on Sunday in Drumbo. The diamonds were dry and the skies were clear which made for perfect fastball conditions.

Due to the rain Day 1 of the Queen of the diamonds has been cancelled. We were all ready bright and early to head to the diamonds and unfortunately will have to wait another day. 

After a strong fielding practice, the Midgets came out ready to play their older London Lightning teammates - London Lightning Intermediates. They started off strong, solid pitching, and clean fielding by all. The intermediates were not there to be walked on by their young counterparts. They came ahead and finished the game 8-0.

The midget team played their first game of the season last Tuesday. They started with a strong practice while their opponents spent almost an hour searching for third base. We started off strong, with quality pitching and strong throws to make the outs. The Impact came alive in the third and din't fall behind once they were ahead. Midgets came back fast bringing it to within one run but fell apart in the last inning letting the Impact spring ahead 12-5. We look forward to our next meeting........We are watching you!!!!!!
