Bantam, 2018 (London Lightning Fastball)

A huge congrats to the London Lightning Bantam who competed this past weekend in the Provincial Championships co-hosted by London Lightning Fastball & Palmerston Marlins, U16 & U19 teams.    

Congratulations to our 2018 Bantam team for bring us home some hardware on Father's Day!

As the Bantams head to the John Cross Memorial Tournament this weekend we wish luck to all the participants, officials and fans! Let the sun shine this weekend!

Bantams had a very successful opening weekend. With a 2-1 record overall the coaching staff was very happy with the effort put out by their team this weekend in Palmerston. Chris Askew was quoted after the game today against Stratford saying "Our hitting was on, and our defence was strong". Lighting defeated Stratford 13-6. After 5 innings the score was 10-0, but Stratford requested to play on stating "we came here to play". After the showing today I think the girls will be ready to face the Gators tomorrow in Guelph. Wish them luck as this will be a good competition.
