Squirt, 2017 (London Lightning Fastball)

U12 Lightning Squirt won the gold medal game on Saturday at GVLSA Championships, B pool.

It was an amazing GVLSA Opening Weekend! The weather was perfect and the girls played their hearts out. With 8 teams visiting from Guelph, Waterloo, Kitchener, Springfield and Brantford there was some serious competition within the U12 divsion. London Lightning Squirts had their bats going all weekend; proud of you girls, LOVE TO WATCH YOU PLAY!

The London Lightning Squirt team traveled to Barrie on Saturday and posted a perfect 3-0 record in the UTM March Madness tournament. The girls produced victories over Port Perry ’06, Whitby ’05 and Mississauga North ’05. The bats and pitching outdueled the three opponents in runs (21-7), baserunners (32-18), hits (17-7) and home runs (2-0). Every player scored at least once! Read more for highlights.
