Spot in "A" Division Earned
U16 Lightning Bantam’s competed in PWSA Provincial qualifier in Cobourg, one of two locations this past weekend in a double knock out format. 

The team played tight, going 3-0, with wins over Vaughan, Whitby 2001 & Mississauga North. London then faced a tough Brantford opponent in the semi-final #1 losing 14-4. London then faced Guelph in semi-final #2 winning 8-2, advancing them into the Gold medal game to face Brantford for redemption.

London was down 6-0 in the first 3 innings. The team rallied through the 4th, 5th & 6th innings to regain the lead 10-8 and ended up holding on for the victory taking Gold in Cobourg Provincial qualifier.

London has now earned a spot in the “A” Division at the Provincial Championships being hosted in Chatham, August 11-13. Cheer us on as we continue our quest to represent Ontario in Eastern Canadian Championships the last week of August in PEI.
