What is your coaching philosophy?
My philosophy as a coach is to facilitate player’s in reaching their optimal potential in softball; through physical and psychological skill development, mental preparation & confidence building, team building, and life skill development.  

What personality traits you are looking for when picking a player for your team?
A player that shows commitment to the team, the sport of Softball.  Has a positive attitude, and is a team player.  Demonstrates respect, passion and hard work.

Do you believe that having a “family” like atmosphere within your team, creates an environment that leads to winning and helps with losing?
There needs to be a cohesive “Family” atmosphere in order to be successful at the highest level.  More “we” and less “me”.  The true team player is just as excited for their teammates’ big plays as if they had made the play themselves.

What is your favorite movie?
A League of Their Own. 

Who has inspired you to be the coach you are today?
There are many coaches that have influenced me, but in general any coach that is able to help coach up players and get a team to work together, no matter the strategy or technique used is an inspiration and someone I would recognize and want to learn from.
