The defence continued to impress in this 8-0, 5 inning mercy victory. Speed was the key to this game as the Lightning scored early and often by generating runs on very few hits. In the 5th inning the bats did come to life highlighted by a triple by JP and a home run by Madi. Tana didn't have her best stuff tonight but battled through and only gave up 3 hits in the complete game shut out so not too bad for not having her best stuff.
