Wow, what a weekend Bantam’s had at the GVLSA Opening
Weekend event! All U16 players played hard and left everything on the field!
Thanks to all the teams participating, coming from all over SWO, Guelph,
Ancaster, Springfield, Enniskillen, Tavistock, Palmerston and Cambridge.
Lightning Bantam’s had an exciting start to the 2017 season, going 5-0-1. The bats were lit- up and the balls were flying! Offense was solid with a total of 16 “Runs Against” in 6 games. The team is looking well-rounded and diverse with talent in every position.
A special thanks to all the parents who helped with the concession stand, it is very much appreciated! Thanks also to the coaches, team manger and of course our lovely players! Thanks to Domino’s Pizza for helping with our fundraising efforts!
Next up? The Stratford Lions Tournament May 20th to May 22nd.
